Honoring Our Journey:
25 Years of Get On The Bus
A celebration of love, resilience, and the unbreakable bond between families.
On March 26, 2026 we gathered to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our program Get On The Bus
For 25 years, Get On The Bus has brought children and families separated by incarceration back together. Creating moments of connection that change lives. What began as a bold act of compassion has grown into an annual program serving thousands of families, with a profound focus on reuniting children with their incarcerated parents.
This special anniversary gathering honored Sister Suzanne Jabro, whose vision, courage, and unwavering belief in families laid the foundation for Get On The Bus. Her legacy continues to guide our work and inspire a future where every child has the opportunity to stay connected to the people who love them.
The event took place at the historic Doheny Mansion.
