AVAILABLE DURING THE SPRING, SUMMER, FALL TERMS

Collaborate with the CRJW staff and interns at the CRJW headquarters in Montebello, CA to support day-to-day program operations. You will work closely with different team members to assist with various essential office tasks which may include:

• Clerical tasks including data entry, copying, organizing, filing, and researching.

• Working with the Family Advocate interns and volunteers to support family participants of the Get On The Bus (GOTB) Program.

• Preparing items for and attending tabling and outreach events with CRJW staff.

• Assisting with planning for future CRJW events such as coordinating transportation, activities, and/or meals.

AVAILABLE DURING THE SPRING TERM

Connecting with families to support their Get On The Bus Event registration and participation. This role may include the following responsibilities:

• Providing one- on-one support to families leading up to the GOTB event including prison and GOTB required documents.

• Accompanying families and volunteers on the bus trip to the prison and attending the visiting event at the prison (based on volunteer need/not required).

• Connecting with local volunteers/community members to assist with GOTB fundraising efforts and donation drives.

The Social Media Intern will play an essential role in supporting the visibility and impact of our Get On The Bus (GOTB) program. This position works closely with our CRJW Development Director to help manage one or more of our social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

We are seeking a creative, trend-aware individual who enjoys storytelling, content creation, and engaging with online communities. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about using digital media to uplift families and strengthen our mission.
